Happy 6 years of love

"Happy Anniversary of our remarkable journey of 6 years together sayang. We are always tested but we became more matured and stronger. Alhamdullilllah blessed with 2 wonderfull children. What more could I possibly ask? Love u forever darling :) "

Hehe...ayat gedik dari sang isteri. Tu pon copy paste orang nyer wish. Ngeh3. Tahun ke-6 dah jadi isteri kepada En Adam. Hari ni masih di Seremban lagi. Semalam dah sibuk wat pavlova bagai sudahnya hari ni aku lupa anniversary kami. Erks!! Tetiba laling I request air nescafe. Siap secawan pas kat dia then dia wish "Happy Anniversary syg". Dang!!!
"Ha...hari ni hari apa? Berapa haribulan ni?" Kwang3... padahal aku yg slalu dok wish dulu or ingt semenjak dari hari sebelum lagi. Ni langsung x teringat beb. Hahaha...dasar faktor usia kan. Kami x wat apa2 majlis sepesel pon. X kemana pong, dok memerap kat umah. Prezen2 pon ilek. Takat ucap selamat & kiss2 jek :p Doa jer la kannn supaya 6 tahun yang dah dilalui ni akan menyuburkan lagi ikatan kami ini untuk tahun2 mendatang pulak. Amiiiiin. N3 ni pon memang ayat semata & x dok gambar2 ke hapa. Ok mari kiter siap2 moh balik Cheras. Buhbye alls. ~~XoXo~~

My 1st Mini Pavlova

Okay stret to the point. Saya telah merajinkan diri membuat misi mustahil hari ini. Hehe, ada hati nak buat pavlova plak ibu Sara nih. Dah banyak kali usha-usha beberapa blog & intai2 resipi kat internet. Tapi masa tu x sampai seru lagi nak buat sdri. Ekceli aku nih memang suker kat pavlova nih. Masa wat mkn2 time birthday aku aritu pon order kat adik pavlova. Minggu ni balik TTJ. Sini ada mixer, jadi boleh la buat acara nih. Kalo nak bikin kat Cheras, mmg x kembang2 ler adunannya nnt :p Jom kiter tengok jadi ke x jadi mini pavlova aku tu. Resipi yang aku follow di sini yer.

Bahan-bahan yang diperlukan telur 6 biji.
Telur mesti dalam suhu bilik yer
Aku pakai 6 biji sebabnya telur tu gred B je.
Klu pakai Gred A 4 biji pon dah cukop.
Esen Vanila, gula kastor, tepung jagung, cuka makan,
whip krim, aneka buah-buahan & kertas minyak

Gula kastor nyer nak pakai dalam secawan je
Ni cawan yang aku guna tuk sukat
Cawan plastik IKEA
Kalau yang jaga kesihatan & x suka manis sgt,
kowang lower down the sugar lorr

Telur 6 biji tu nak pakai yang had putih jer tau
Egg yolk x terlibat dalam ini resipi
Leceh gak nak asing2kan putih & kuning telur
Rupanya kat internet dah dok ajar simple way
Pakai botol mineral kosong jer
Korang pi la google sdri

Aku pakai 3 jenis buah jer
Ni buah yg paling aku suka kalo ngan pavlova
Ada gak aku jumpa yg pakai peach la, plum la
Ikot suka la kan, tekak memasing :p

Ni time memukul putih telur & gula
Mixer Makcik Pekzah dengan rasminya telah dikuarkan dari kotak
Memula pukul la putih telur dulu sampai kembang
Then sikit2 masukkan gula sampai habis
jangan masuk sekali rap yer
Sudah tu, pusing mixer tu laju2 tahap gaban
Sampai dia jadi "meringue"
Then stopkan mixer dulu
Pehtu masukkan cuka, tepung jagung & esen vanila
Kacau guka tgn plak sampai sebati

Adunan yang betul ialah apabila korang terbalikkan mangkuk tu, bahan di dalamnya x tumpah. Meringue tu x boleh kene air tahu. Pastikan peralatan mixer tu pon kering. Kalo tak x menjadila meringue korang. Adunan dah tinggal suku lagi nak langsai. Hehe...yg x menahannya, adunan buat tempat lain, bakar nyer kat tempat lain plak. Hiks. Umah mak aku x der pembakar ker. Yg ado ketuhar gelombang mikro jer. Itu pon takat nak panas2 kan food jer. Aku try wat eksperimen bakar gak dlm tuh, tapi hangus & hancuss!!!. Haha...itam legam jadinya. Penyelamat keadaan ialah Mak Hajah saya lerr. Kebetulan time tu Pak aji & mak hajah ada hal kt luar. Aku pon hangkut meringue pavlova tu bawak p sana plak tuk sesi pembakaran. Sabar je encik somi jadi driver aritu. Bawak p Giant soh beli bahan, pastuh berangkut ke umah mak hajah plak. Padahal dia secubit pavlova tu pon dia x jamah. Huhu...sentap sedikit disitu. Tapi x leh nak salahkan dia sbb dia mmg x suka apa2 yg berkaitan dgn whip krim, keju & yg sewaktu dengannya. Tapi demi menjaga hati isteri & nk support isterinya yg tetiba rajin semacam kan...dia follow jer. Tq yer yunk.

Okay, ni time membakar adunan meringue tadi
Aku tepek tu guna sudu jer
x pakai apa2 acuan pon
Cuma kene pastikan bahagian tengahnya ada mcm lobang
& yg tepi tu tinggi sket ala2 benteng
sbb nanti kat tengah2 tu ler nk letak whip krim
1st time buatkan, so terkial2 gak la nk kawal api
x tau aku suhu mcmn yg terbaik
main hentam jer
asal x panas sgt & x hangus
Kejap bukak katup pintu oven
nk tengok warnanya
intai dari luar cam x puas hati plak
dah la ngan rabun lagi
Mak hajah ckp menu asas telur ni x per
kalau bukak katup pintu oven
janagn bakar kek korang wat camnih
mau bantut kek tu nanti

Ni 2nd round nyer hasil 1st round bakar,
tepek whip krim & buah, terus kene balun dah.
X sempat nak snap gambar.
Mak hajah pon dah balik time siap bakar ni.
Cam hangus sket kan

Tadaaaaaa......amacam? OK ker idok?
Boleh la kotttt. Nama pon 1st try
Amatur lagi kan
Masuk kat mulut rasa pavlova jugak :p
Sendiri makan boleh ler
Petang tadi ada wat makan2 sket
Sajer dah lama x ajak pakcik makcik dtg umah
Nak tggu raya lambat lagi
Lagi pulak semalam pon birthday Sara
Ajak 3 buah family jer pon
Aku letak la seketul 2 pavlova ni tuk diorang
Abis jugak lah, hihi
Nanti kiter wat projek lain plak.

5 tahun sudaaa

Hari ni birthday Nur Sara Afiqah...buah hati chenta mati saya. Hihi. Selamat Hari Lahir yg ke 5 kakak. Makin besar dah kakak. Ibu rindu kakak masa baby dolu2. Chumel2 jer. Eee...geramnya. Kalo bole tak kakak stay cute & chumel cam now ni smpi bila2. Yg boleh ibu dukong & peluk cam bantal polok :) Tapiii...mana bole kan. Emm...cepatnya ms berlalu. Bila dikenangkan balik, x susah masa mengandungkan dia (mayb Sara tau masa tu ayah jauh dari ibu) & x jugak susah melahirkan dia. Membesarkan dia juga bukan satu kepayahan yg membebankan. Dialah penghibur di kala duka, pengubat sakit & peneman di kala sunyi (x penah sunyi pon).

5 tahun ni dia dah semakin petah bercakap, cam owang tua pon ada. Dia kakak yg boleh diharap menjaga adik. Dia anak yang peka & sensitif. Tau ajer bila ibu shopping brg baru. Dia tahu bila masa ibu ok or X ok. Dah pandai mandi, & bersiap sendiri. Dah pandai cebok sendiri. Dah boleh join ibu solat sesama. Dah pandai demand baju & melaram cam ibu gak. Ibu sayang kakak sangat2. Ibu rinduuuuuu kakak sangat2. Semoga Allah panjangkan usia ibu & ayah utk besarkan kakak & adik juga dgn sempurna. Selamat ulang tahun sayang ibu.

Say No to Monday Blues

Monday Blues: 5 Ways to Counter It

-By Michael Poh

In studies conducted with US participants, results have shown that suicides are more likely to occur on Mondays than any other weekday, and not surprisingly, the amount of suicides are the least during weekends. It is also revealed that Monday depresses the most people compared to any other days of the week. Seems like there is a reason behind the term ‘Monday Blues’ after all.

monday blues

It probably wouldn’t come as a shock to you that a UK research also found that most sick leaves are also taken on Mondays. As to why Monday is a particularly moody day, well, it’s pretty obvious that we’d end up a bit down when returning to work, especially after a fun and rested weekend. In reality though, the real reason may be more than meets the eye.

It turns out that Monday Blues could be a case of biological emotional cycles that determine our ‘biological’ moods. In other words, it’s not the negative feelings we have of going back to work that’s making us blue, but periodic mood shifts that go by the week. Fortunately for us, there are a few simple things we can do to help minimize the ill effects of Monday Blues.

1. Have Something to Look Forward to on Monday Nights

What is it that keeps you going from Monday ’til Friday? Weekends! You’d probably be thinking about the weekend getaway with your buddies, daydreaming about the sea breeze and the golden sandy beaches that awaits your arrival; no doubt these thoughts would help make the time pass faster.

The same theory thus, should also apply to your Mondays. Plan something for after work so that you have something to look forward to. Monday is probably just the start of a hard week ahead, so you deserve an exciting event at the end of the day to motivate you while you work.

party monday

If you feel that you’d be too exhausted for a night out, consider doing something at home; something relaxing. Taking a long bath while indulging in soothing music and a homemade aromatherapy session should lessen the stress you are facing at work or after a long weekend, partying.

If you make it a habit to go home to relax every Monday evening, sooner or later you’d not see each Monday as a taxing day. Rather, it will become the day that you’ll long for. Monday doesn’t have to be the most painful day of the week; it is only so, if you focus on it.

2. Prepare Monday’s Work on Friday

This one seems like common sense, but people don’t seem to heed it. It is a case of instant gratification versus delayed gratification. Yes, Friday is the day when we can finally say take a breather and count down to the weekend. But in reality, some of us have already ‘closed shop’ by midday, and simply thinking about plans for the weekends.

The result? We leave Friday’s work to pick up on Monday, and we face a double whammy when we return to work after the weekend.

I suggest that you bring the coming Monday’s work to this Friday. This will not only minimize the dread you’ll face on Monday mornings, but also keep your mind off work during the weekend. At the very least, if you plan out Monday’s workload on Friday, you’ll feel less overwhelmed come Monday. Planning ahead can help you cope with Mondays and maintain your productivity levels for the rest of the week.

3. Socialize

Humans are social animals. Even if you are an introvert and prefer to keep to yourself most of the time, you still need some social contact once in a while. Engaging in a conversation stimulates the mind enough to actually kick-start it for the day. If you dive straight into your work the moment you reach the office, chances are that your brain is still trying to ‘wake up’. Like a car engine, your brain needs to warm up before it can function optimally.

Other sources would suggest waking up earlier, getting some sunlight, or finding something to laugh about, etc. The idea is to freshen up your mind before you start work, so that you’ll get enough motivation and energy to face yet another demanding Monday.

socialize

I suggest socialization here because there’s nothing more invigorating than the exchange of ideas and opinions via conversations. The conversations need not be ‘deep’ in nature; even a simple chat about how the weekend was spent can wake up all your senses and your mind for the day ahead.

4. Reconceptualize Mondays

This one is a little tricky because it has a lot to do mind over matter. Ask yourself: why does Monday have to be blue? Just because everyone says so? Well, it doesn’t have to be. Yes, you should ‘reprogram’ the way you see Monday. Monday may be the day we have to drag our feet back to work after an awesome weekend but if you look at it as the beginning of a great week ahead, the thought can empower you and propel you to a great start.

As it is with other things in life, it is a matter of seeing the glass half empty or half full. You can be overwhelmed with all the duties and deadlines you are in charge of, or you can be enthusiastic about the responsibilities and goals thrown upon you.

If this doesn’t work for you, my fifth and final tip, the simplest and most counter-intuitive solution could just be the answer to your Monday woes.

5. Accept It

Monday blues is like a Chinese finger trap; the more you struggle, the tighter it gets. In other words, fighting the blues only makes it worse. The solution to both Monday blues and the finger trap is surprisingly very similar. For the finger trap, you just need to relax your fingers and push them further in. The trap will then loosen and you’ll get your fingers out. As for your Monday blues, just accept that it’s a dreadful day and that you’ll probably feel a bit tired and down.

Think about it: Monday is already a miserable day and you’re still thinking of ways to stop yourself feeling that way? It will only exhaust you further. Why not go with the flow and cope with the stress? Time passes by quickly when you don’t dwell on it.

After awhile you wouldn’t even remember that Mondays are supposed to be blue. It’s just the day after the weekend when we all have to return to work.

Have a great week ahead!

Sabtu lepas kami bawak anak-anak bersuka ria kat Pusat Sains Negara. Planning dah lama nak ke sana tapi masa jer yang selalu x mengizinkan. 2,3 kali lalu lalang depan PSN tu nampak ada iklan pameran Star Trek. En somi pon soh google pasal entry pameran tu kat web site PSN. Tiket utk dewasa RM20 & kanak-kanak RM10. Hari tu kami pergi berlima. Pak Ngah nyer ngikot sama. Kol 8.30 pagi dah gerak dari rumah. Masuk je area PSN tu dah siap ada "Parking Pusat Sains Negara" & the parking area is next to Suruhanjaya Sekuriti. Nampaknya kene menapak la nak ke PSN sbb PSN tu letaknya seberang jalan dari Suruhanjaya Sekuriti. Nasib ada jejambat so X yah la nak tekedek2 lintas kot main road. Tapi al-kisahnya, bila kami sampai depan post guard kat PSN tu diorang tegur. "Encik datang dengan kereta ker" En somi mengiyakan la. Then abang guard tu soh kami p amik kete bawak masuk sini sebab katanya awal2 pg gini x ramai pelawat lagi, so boleh paking kete kat main area PSN ni. Ooooooo.....baiklah. En somi pon patah balik g amik kete semula. Kalau tak jenuh gak la nak menapak & mendaki sampai ke tempat utama. Dah beli tiket kami p sarap dlu. Nak cepat punya pasal kat umah tadi ibu sempat buat air nescafe ayah jer. Ibu sedniri pon x minom lagi. Hihi :p

Hiks, anak sapo la tu? X nampak plak any signbord pasal nak mandi kolam nih. FOC kot.

Kat dalam kapal Star Trek (kapal la sgt kan) tu x leh amih gambo. Ni jer yg boleh dizahirkan. Ekceli 2 gambar yg kiri tu kami amik berbayar. Dlm perut kapal tu ada pot2 yang dibenarkan pelawat melaram & posing2. RM15 for single normal photo. Ada gak pakej + side effect yg bagai2 dgn harga below RM50. Sooooo...itu sahaja yg boleh dokongsikan. Overall, mmg best lepak sini. X buang masa & x rugi duit pon :p Cara kami mengeratkan kasih sayang.
